Owls Travel to North Texas, Host LA Tech and Bethune-Cookman

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will wrap up its three-match road trip at North Texas on Friday, Oct. 5 before hosting Louisiana Tech on Sunday, Oct. 7 and Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

Last Week: FAU (11-4, 2-1 C-USA) split its two matches last weekend, falling to FIU on Friday, before rebounding from an 0-2 deficit to Charlotte on Sunday to win the match in five sets. That victory was the 100th of Head Coach Fernanda Nelson's career.

History: FAU trails North Texas 10-4 in the all-time series, with the Mean Green taking last year's only meeting in four sets, despite 16 kills from Sigourney Kame and a double-double by Ivone Martinez. The Owls have only lost once in six encounters with the Lady Techsters. FAU swept LA Tech last season in Ruston. FAU is undefeated in 41 all-time meetings with the Wildcats including a sweep earlier this season as part of the FAU Invitational.
