Shiver Named to the InTouch Credit Union C-USA All-Academic Team

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lachlan Shiver of the Florida Atlantic men's cross country team has been named to the Conference USA InTounch Credit Union All-Academic Team. It is the second time Shiver has earned all-academic honors, after being to the same team last season.

The junior has posted a 3.951 in biological sciences during his time at FAU and he's earned the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal each of his first two years.

The Coral Springs, Florida native has had an impressive season on the course. He opened the season with his first collegiate win at the FAU Cross Country Invitational, breaking a school record with a time of 15:21. He's led the Owls in every race this season and has been named the C-USA Athlete of the Week twice this season.

Shiver and the Owls will host the Conference USA Championship on Saturday at South County Regional Park. The women's race starts at 8:30 a.m. while the men will begin at 9:15 a.m.
