Florida Atlantic University football (3-4, 1-2 Conference USA) completed its final on-field prep prior to what is known on the Tom Oxley Fields as "Fast Friday," which will take place this week on Thursday. The short week of prep is for this week's C-USA opponent, Louisiana Tech (5-2, 3-1) and the home game is scheduled to kick at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

For the third consecutive year, FAU's Frank Forte hosts the weekly show "Inside the Owls Burrow." The show is broadcasted on Fox Sports Florida, will first air at 4 p.m. Thursday, and be shown a second time at 6 p.m. Friday. This week's show features Coach Kiffin's recap of the Marshall game as well as a look into Friday's Louisiana Tech game. Sophomore safety Zyon Gilbert will be featured in this week's "Pads Off," plus fans will have an opportunity to find out what career former Owl defensive lineman Jason Pugh is pursuing in "Where are They Now." The show also will feature FAU linebacker Akileis Leroy, who continues to excel on social teams.
