Hendler Named C-USA Golfer of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University's Ricky Hendler has been named the Conference USA Golfer of the Week after a spectacular performance at the Fort Lauderdale Classic.

Hendler improved each round in his 73-72-70 215 outing, climbing three spots in the final round to finish second in the field of 84 players. The Sarasota, Fla. native tallied 12 birdies, the second-most in the field and paced the Owls to a fifth-place team finish. Hendler also shot 3.97 average on par fours and recorded 31 pars.
