BOCA RATON, Fla. - Early television scheduling slates three 2016-17 Florida Atlantic University men's basketball games to showcase, Conference USA announced today.
FAU's non-conference road game in the Rainbow Classic versus host Hawai'i will air on ESPN2. Tipoff for the game is set for 4:15 a.m. eastern, Tuesday, Nov. 15.
The Owls' first televised conference game will be the home contest on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 against in-state foe FIU. The game will be carried on ASN and will tip off at 2 p.m. eastern. BeIN Sports will televise the Owls' home game versus UAB on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at 8 p.m.
Additional games could be added at a later date as part of the conference package. An audio stream for home and away games can be heard via ESPN West Palm 106.3 or on the ESPN app. Ken LaVicka will have the call. All home contests will be video streamed as part of the FAUSports.TV package and LaVicka serve as the game's announcer.
