MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University football team suffered its first 2016 loss at the hands of No. 25 Miami by a 38 to 10 margin on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Turning Point
FAU responded quickly with a Greg Joseph field goal after Miami's first score, but UM would post 17 points to extend the lead to 24-3 before the Owls struck again.

The Finish
Miami scored the final 14 points of the game to pull away for the victory. FAU's last score came on a Greg Howell 38-yard touchdown rush with 3:50 remaining in the third quarter.
