BOCA RATON, Fla. â€" Senior Brandon Rhodes dealt a complete-game, two-hit shutout to lead the Florida Atlantic University baseball team to a 6-0 win over Georgetown on Saturday.

"I had all three pitches working for me today," Rhodes said. "I was able to work off my fastball and changeup and off my curveball when I wanted. Everybody is looking for a big bounce-back after [Friday] and I'm glad I was able to do that."

Rhodes dealt four strikeouts as the No. 15 Owls (8-1) saw Billy Endris go 2-for-4 with three RBI while CJ Chatham hit a two-run homer.

Brett Lashley led off the third inning with a double before an error put two in scoring position for Endris. The senior laced a single to right, driving in two runs before advancing to second on another GU error. Christian Dicks then followed suit with a single through the right side to plate Endris, putting FAU up 3-0.

Rhodes allowed one hit in the second, then did not give up another until the eighth inning before he sparked a double-play to end the frame.

Stephen Kerr doubled in the eighth and came in to score on another RBI single by Endris to tack on an insurance run. Chatham then belted his first home run of the season to cap the scoring at 6-0. Rhodes retired the side in the ninth for his first career complete-game outing, improving to 3-0 on the season.
