MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Florida Atlantic University softball team completed a series sweep of Middle Tennessee with a 7-0 victory on Sunday. The Owls are now 26-5 on the year.

Notables
• The Owls are 3-0 in conference play for the first time since 2008.
• Kylee Hanson threw a complete game, two hit shutout for her 11th win of the year. She didn't allow a runner to advance past first base.
• Alex Miller went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.
• Delaney Rickey had two hits and two RBI.
• Mickey Bell had a single, a double, drove in a run and scored twice.
• Christina Martinez also had two hits and scored a run.

Key Plays
With Tatum Buckley and Sarah Bencivenga already on base in the second, Bell singled and Miller tripled to make the score 3-0. Rickey singled in Miller to push the lead to 4-0. In the fourth inning, Emily Lochten singled in Miller and Christina Martinez to make the score 6-0. Rickey singled in Bell in the fifth to account for the final run.
