Men's Soccer to Face FIU Friday in Miami

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team looks to make an impact in the Conference USA standings this week as the Owls travel to rival FIU. With a win, FAU could jump to second in the C-USA standings.
The Owls (4-6-1, 2-2 C-USA) are coming off of a 2-1 double-overtime victory over New Mexico last week. Daniel Del Rio scored FAU's first goal of the match before Oliver Powers fired in the game-winner in the 103rd minute.
The Panthers (4-6-2, 2-2-1 C-USA) sit just one point ahead of FAU with one extra match under their belts. FIU also had a double-overtime victory in its last outing, posting a 2-1 win at Marshall on Oct. 15.
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 in Miami. FAU will return home to host Kentucky for Senior Day on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. For tickets, call 1-866-FAU-OWLS or visit FAUSports.com.
