BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic men's tennis beat Boston University 6-1 on Thursday at home. The Owls have won three in row all in convincing fashion. FAU won the doubles point and gave up just one singles match to the Terriers.
The FAU duo of senior Will Neuner and Junior Andrei Morin-Kougoucheff continued their winning ways defeating William Kwok and Stefan Lemire 6-1. FAU senior Robert Dubuque and FAU freshman Zandrix Acob defeated Jake De Vries and Jay Leelavanich to help FAU capture the doubles point.
In singles Neuner defeated William Kwok 6-2, 6-3 to extend his win streak to three. FAU senior Sean Bacha defeated Stefan Lemire 6-2, 7-5 and FAU senior Richard Meade defeated Mario Sandoval 6-2, 6-4. The Owls freshman also played well with Alexander Gitin defeating Jake De Vries 2-6, 6-4, 10-5 and FAU's Ignacio Jimenez defeating Lucas Bombonatti 7-6 (10-4), 6-3.
FAU returns to action on March 18, in Orlando against Fairleigh Dickinson.
