Owls Open C-USA Tournament Versus LA Tech

The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team will open the 2015 Conference USA Championship Tournament on Wednesday with a 1:30 p.m. CT tipoff against Louisiana Tech.
The Owls (13-16, 7-11 C-USA) earned the tenth seed while the Lady Techsters (15-14, 10-8 C-USA) are the seventh seed. LA Tech leads the all-time series 3-0, including a 73-68 win in Boca Raton on Feb. 12. Shaneese Bailey led the Owls with 24 points while Morgan Robinson scored 18. Freshman Danneal Ford posted a career-high 12 points in the contest.
