BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic women's tennis traveled to Ft. Myers on Wednesday to take on Florida Gulf Coast and came up short of their third victory on the season, losing 7-0. FAU never got going after losing the doubles point, suffering their second shutout of the season. FAU freshman Lyndsey Boos did take her match to three sets before losing to Johanna Sterkel 6-4, 6-7, 10-6.
FAU returns to action Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. against Oakland. The match will be played at a neutral site in Palm City, FL. FAU played and had success against Oakland last year at home winning last year's match 6-1.
