BOCA RATON, Fla. - For the first time since 2007, the Florida Atlantic University baseball team will showcase its talents against a Major League Baseball team as the Owls play the St. Louis Cardinals on March 2.
The matchup will take place at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla. with the first pitch slated for 1:05 p.m. This will be the fifth time in FAU history that the Owls will play the Cardinals.
"After a bit of a hiatus, it'll be great for our program to play the Cardinals," FAU Head Coach John McCormack said. "It'll be a great day for FAU."
In the last battle between the two programs, the Owls rallied for a pair of runs in the final inning, but fell 3-2 on Feb. 26, 2007.
