Men's Cross Country Competes at FSU Invitational

Final Results
The Florida Atlantic University men's cross country team competed in the FSU Invitational on Friday morning with the Owls coming in sixth out of seven Division I teams.
Senior Christian Small was FAU's top finisher in the 8k, coming in 27th with a final time of 27:52.10. The young Freshman Conor Fitzgerald followed right behind the senior, coming in 31st place with a time of 28:10.90. Following his teammates newcomer Jonathan Werble finished close behind in 35th place with a time of 28:30.70.
Joshua Nicolas finished in 39th with a time of 28:46.60, and in trailing Nicholas was the freshman John Marting finishing the race in 40th place. The other FAU competitors who rounded out the group John Przygocki, Jehal Thompson, Ross Rabalais finishing in 43rd, 45th, and 49th.
"All around it was a very tough course, a lot harder than we expected. It affected us a little as seen in our times. We thought we were going to be a little faster on both sides, but overall we did a good job. We will continue to build and get better." Said Coach Alex Smolka
