Weather Forces Changes to Strike Out Cancer Tournament Schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The schedule for the Florida Atlantic University softball team's Strike Out Cancer Tournament has been changed. The recent winter storms prevented two teams that were scheduled to participate from making the trip.

UMass and Providence were unable to travel down for the tournament, so the schedule for the weekend has been adjusted. There will be four games each on Friday and Saturday, as well as a doubleheader on Sunday.

On Friday, FAU will now play LIU Brooklyn at 3 p.m. followed by a game against Maryland at 5:30 p.m. The Owls will return to the field on Sunday morning to face South Carolina at 11:00 a.m. Live stats of all tournament games will be available on the Tournament Central page HERE.
