Foran Named NFCA All-Region

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Bella Foran, a sophomore outfielder for the Florida Atlantic softball team, has been named to the NFCA All-Region Gulf Third Team, announced by the NFCA on Thursday.

This marks Foran's second all-region selection in as many seasons, adding to her early strong collegiate resume.

Beginning the year ninth in the lineup, Foran settled in at the leadoff spot and tallied 40 hits and 40 runs on a .342 batting average. She also led the Owls with two triples. In 117 at-bats, the Hoover, Alabama native struck out just three times.

Defensively, she patrolled left field and recorded 146 putouts, 49 more than the next closest outfielder on the team.

Foran is the first Owl to earn All-Region selections in consecutive years since Madisyon Palmer in 2018 and '19.
