Full 2012 Men's Soccer Schedule
BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's 2012 men's soccer schedule has been released. The regular season gets underway on Friday, August 24 following a slate of exhibition matches.
The first exhibition match will allow fans their first glimpse of the 2012 Owls on Saturday, August 11, with opponent and location to be determined. The team also will host exhibitions against Nova Southeastern University on Thursday, August 16 at 4 p.m. and Barry University on Sunday, August 19 at 7 p.m.
Opening night of the 2012 regular season will take place at the FAU Soccer Stadium against the University of Central Florida on Friday, August 24 at 7 p.m. The Owls then will host Bryant University on Sunday, August 26 at 1 p.m. before taking their first road trip to Jacksonville for the next two matches.
Mid-American Conference (MAC) play begins on Sunday, September 30 at home against Northern Illinois University at 10 a.m. The Owls will host two more conference games, the first on Friday, October 26 against Bowling Green State University, with the start time to be announced. They wrap up the 2012 regular season against MAC opponent Hartwick College on Sunday, November 4 at 4 p.m.
