Meet Senior Curtis Cross

As the son of parents who hail from Jamaica, football wasn't the obvious choice for me to play. But I was raised in Belle Glade, land of sugarcane and high school football. My parents are supportive of everything I choose to do. They were there when I faced all the hype versus Monarch my senior year of high school. I stuck the receiver on the first pass and they never came my way again. They were there when I captured the 300- and 100-meter dash in the state championships my junior year as well as the 110 hurdles as a senior. They are always there for each of their three children and my mom knows that I will be home anytime she is cooking Jamaican food, especially ox tails for dinner.
