Boca Raton, Fla. - College football fans now have several great options to choose from to obtain tickets to Florida Atlantic University football games this fall in the new on-campus stadium. The athletic department is offering special ticket plans for families, local businesses and adjusted season ticket holders.
These ticket plans go on sale beginning Friday, August 5:
• The Family Pack provides four tickets for all five home games, beginning with the stadium's grand-opening game on October 15 against Western Kentucky University. Family Pack prices range depending on seating level in the stadium: $250 ($12.50 per person) for Lower Owl Nest seats and $199 ($9.95 per person) for Upper Owl Nest seats.
• The Mini Owl Plan is a special ticket package for fans to purchase any 3 home games of their choice. The top option is $90 ($30 per game) for seats in the Premier Sideline section of the stadium. The other option at $75 ($25 per game) allows fans the choice of watching games in others sections of the stadium.
• The Owl Business Merchants Program allows local businesses, for $1,500, to support FAU and receive four reserved football season tickets, two reserved men's basketball season tickets and two All Sports Passes. These supportive businesses will also be recognized on the FAU athletics web site (www.fausports.com), football and basketball game day programs, public address announcements at all athletic events, and football and basketball autograph schedule posters. Businesses will also be featured in a one-time visit by the Owls Street Team during the 2011-12 season.
Besides the home opener against WKU, the schedule features games against Middle Tennessee State, on October 22; Arkansas State, on November 5 (Homecoming); UAB, on November 26; and the season finale against Louisiana-Monroe, on November 3.
