BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team held had another full pads practice Friday afternoon. After having a day off on Thursday which was raining all day, the team took to the field today under clear skies.
The Owls took to the field at 3:30 p.m. and had a solid two and a half hour practice. The team came out working hard and with enthusiasm to run through their plays. Offensively, tight end Nexon Dorvilus and Keith Reaser looked good catching short passes, while Marcus Cunningham stood out with his long routes. On the other side of the ball, defensive back Brentley Harstad played good coverage, Cory Henry deflected a pass and Derek King had an interception on the day.
FAU will continue their preparation tomorrow for their season opener game on Saturday, Sept. 2 in Gainesville against the University of Florida. • The Family Pack provides four tickets for all five home games, beginning with the stadium's grand-opening game on October 15 against Western Kentucky University. Family Pack prices range depending on seating level in the stadium: $250 ($12.50 per person) for Lower Owl Nest seats and $199 ($9.95 per person) for Upper Owl Nest seats.
• The Mini Owl Plan is a special ticket package for fans to purchase any 3 home games of their choice. The top option is $90 ($30 per game) for seats in the Premier Sideline section of the stadium. The other option at $75 ($25 per game) allows fans the choice of watching games in others sections of the stadium.
