BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team lost to Arkansas State 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-16) at FAU Arena on Sunday.
Owl junior Thacilli Pereira led the club with eight kills on the day, while Georgia Robinson chipped in five of her own. Junior libero Cintia Nightingale finished with a seven digs in the loss.
Arkansas State (17-7, 8-2 SBC) placed three players in double figures led by Jasmine Terry and Taylor Szypulski with a match-high 12 kills each. Terry also finished the night with a .611 attack percentage. Cayla Fielder each added 11 kills of her own.
FAU (3-18, 0-9 SBC) will return to action on Wednesday when the Owls travel to take on FIU. First serve versus the Panthers is set for 6:30 p.m. in Miami.
