BOCA RATON, FL - FIU posted a blistering .299 hitting percentage that proved to be too much for the Owls to overcome as the Florida Atlantic University volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-9, 25-22, 25-16) Wednesday night to the Panthers at the U.S. Century Bank Arena.
FAU (3-19, 0-10 Sun Belt) was led offensively by Darija Sataric's 11 kills. Junior outside hitter Georgia Robinson also chipped in with five kills. FIU (14-7, 6-4) was paced by Sabrina Gonzalez's 15 kills.
FAU will now return home to host South Alabama on Friday night. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
