Track Heads to Alumni Invitational

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic track team will head to the Alumni Invitational, hosted by the University of Miami this weekend.

The Owls won two event titles at last season's meet, with Friederike Feil winning the 1,500 meters and Toyria Mattear winning the 400 meter hurdles. Mattear's time was also good enough to qualify her for the NCAA East Regional. Mattear was the first Owl to qualify for Regionals last season, eventually being joined by Feil.

The Alumni Invitational traditionally attracts teams from around the Southeast and this year's field is expected to include another competitive field. Live results of the event will be available at www.halfmiletiming.com.
