The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team had its three-match winning streak snapped on Tuesday by losing 4-3 to Kennesaw State University on Tuesday at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton. The Owls drop to 5-7 on the season.

Senior Natalia Totevska picked up her second straight victory with a 6-4, 7-6 triumph at No. 2 singles. The win was her sixth on the season after also scoring a straight-set win on Monday against Middle Tennessee State University.

Freshman Natasha Basma dropped only five games in earning a straight-set, 6-4 and 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles. The Fort Lauderdale native has now won four straight matches to improve her record to 6-7 on the season.

Totevska helped clinch the doubles point for FAU with teammate Erika Mrazkova. The duo won a tiebreaker at No. 2 doubles after rallying from a 7-4 deficit. The sophomore team of Justine Humair and Cassie Bergeson picked up an 8-5 victory at No. 1 doubles.

FAU returns to the court on Thursday, March 11 with a match against Furman University, starting at 2 p.m., in Patch Reef Park.
