BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University (13-12) softball team lost to Harvard University 3-2 on Sunday.
The game was tied 1-1 headed to extra innings when both teams scored a run in the eighth inning, but FAU could not score in the top of the ninth. Harvard was able to push across the winning run in the bottom of the inning.
Amy Bukovich and Caitlyn Bliss both had two hits on the day.
FAU returns to action on Thursday when they host Liberty at 6 p.m. Live stats of the game will be available via GameTracker at fausports.com.
