BOCA RATON, FL - Amber Barton and Ambar Jones each had two RBI in FAU's 4-1 win over Liberty on Thursday night.

Barton put the Owls ahead early with a solo homerun to left in the bottom of the second inning. Later in the second inning, Jones added to the lead with a two-run double to left center that drove in Christine Houghtaling and Kerri Croney. Barton grounded out in the third inning to drive in her second run of the game.

Barton also pitched four innings to pick up her third win of the season. Rose Gressley pitched three scoreless innings for her first save of the year.

The Owls and Flames will meet in a rematch on Friday as part of the Parents' Weekend Tournament. The game starts at 6 p.m. and live stats of the game will be available via GameTracker at www.fausports.com.
