FAU Will Scrimmage Ontario Blue Jays on Wednesday

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic baseball team will be in action on Wednesday night when the Ontario Blue Jays visit FAU Baseball Stadium for a nine inning scrimmage starting at 5 pm. The Blue Jays are a Canadian high school select team comprised of 2010 and 2011 graduates.
"We are looking forward to playing a quality opponent and gauge where we are halfway through fall baseball," said Owls head coach John McCormack. "The guys are excited to play against someone other than each other and we are looking forward to the game."
Freshman Kevin Alexander will be the starting pitcher for FAU. The scrimmage will also feature unlimited substitutions so both coaches will have the ability to insert and remove players to any position throughout the entire game.
