BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team swept South Alabama in three sets on Friday night.
The Owls (4-13, 3-6 Sun Belt) got out to a fast start in the first set, outhitting South Alabama .409 to -.045 on the way to a 25-13 win. In the second set, Krystena Castro had four kills to lead FAU as it took a two sets to none lead, 25-18.
Georgia Robinson had a perfect third set tallying four kills in four attempts as the Owls stormed out to a 21-7 lead, eventually taking the set and the match 25-13. Christina Wallinger had 10 kills to lead all players.
FAU returns to action on Saturday, October 17 when they host Troy. The match starts at 1 p.m.
