FAU Football Single Game Tickets Now On Sale

BOCA RATON, FL- Florida Atlantic University football single game tickets will go on sale today.
The 2008 season promises to be exciting as the Owls return 18 starters from a 2007 squad that won the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl and Sun Belt Conference Championship. The conference championship was the first in the program's history and was captured in only the fourth season of Sun Belt Conference play.
The 2008 schedule features home games at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale against the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Troy University, the University of North Texas, and the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. An additional home game against in-state rival Florida International University will take place at Dolphin Stadium in Miami.
Individual home game tickets start at $12. Season tickets for FAU football also are available, starting at $56 per ticket. Family Four Packs also are available for FAU home games and include: four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks, four bags of chips and four T-shirts for only $55 per game. Fanfest will take place on Saturday, August 16 beginning at noon at the FAU Track & Field Complex, Boca Raton campus. The event is free and open to the public and will feature FAU's fall sports teams, autographs and an interactive game area for children. FAU's football team also is scheduled to play their first scrimmage of the 2008 pre-season.
Youth Day will take place on Saturday, September 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lockhart Stadium, just prior to kickoff of the home season opener against UAB. The first 350 kids to arrive will receive a free FAU football jersey. Children will be able to participate in carnival rides and games, and also will have the opportunity to meet Angelica from Nickelodeon's Rugrats.
