Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team completed its regular season with a 7-0 win over Bethune Cookman University Tuesday afternoon in Boca Raton. The Owls finish the season ranked no. 72 with a 14-5 record and head to the Sun Belt Conference Championships April 18-20 in Monroe, LA.
FAU only dropped one set on the afternoon to the Wildcats. Olivier Sajous and Lawrence Harradine easily disposed of Emil Vassilev and Stefan James at the no. 1 doubles spot 8-1. Sajous returned in no. 1 singles to earn a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Vassilev. Harradine also had an easy time with Jerome Ward at no. 5, 6-0, 6-1.
The Owls enter the SBC Tournament as one of three ranked teams. Denver leads the pack at no. 42 followed by no. 68 Middle Tennessee and no. 72 Florida Atlantic University.
