FAU Track Wins Design Award

BOCA RATON, FL - CSR Heavy Construction Inc., who designed and built the Florida Atlantic University Track Facility was recently given the 2008 Build Florida Award for Specialty Contractors.
The $4.2 million facility, which opened in January 2007, was a successful collaborative effort between the administration of Florida Atlantic University and several different companies. The Owls hosted thier first track meet ever at the facility last March. The facility is also open to students and staff and has hosted the last two spring football games.
"This was a group effort between people both on and off of the FAU campus. I'm excited to see all of that hard work rewarded," said head FAU track coach Alex Smolka.
