Coral Gables, FL - Olivier Sajous and Corey Smith captured their singles matches at the 2006 Hurricane Fall Invitational, hosted by the University of Miami.
The Owls dropped the doubles matches only to come back strong in singles play picking up Sajous `s victory at no. 1 and Smith's victory at no. 4. The remaining three matches were halted due to lightening and will resume at 9 a.m., Saturday.
Sajous continues to play well coming off last week's victory over a ranked player with a solid performance against North Florida's Eduardo Pereira who notched several wins over ranked opponents a year ago.
