Men's Tennis Tops Athletics Academically

Boca Raton, FL - Approximately one-third of Florida Atlantic University student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better grade-point average during the Spring 2006 semester.

Women's swimming and diving (15), baseball (13), football (13) and men's swimming and diving (13) had the most athletes earn the distinction. A total of 132 student-athletes garnered recognition in the 3.0 Club.

The men's tennis team won the Outstanding Academic Performance "Team Award" for the highest overall G.P.A.

Thirty-nine athletes earned the Dean's List honors, while 11 of those reached the highest level of academic excellence, the President's List.
