Macon, GA - Playing with just four players, Florida Atlantic University's men's tennis team challenged Mercer University but, fell 6-1
"David Demers did a nice job picking up a couple of wins," said head coach David Komie. "He has had a pretty good individual season despite all challenges that have faced the team and I'm proud of him."
Demers was the only Owl to play at his regular position in the match and proved victorious. Singles positions 2, 3, and four were each playing up one spot and saw Mauricio Paiz push his match to three sets and two tie breakers
FAU will next play Georgia State, 2 p.m. Tuesday.
