Owls falls in Women's Tennis to GSU 4-3

Boca Raton, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team opened the first week of March, a month that will see the Owls play 11 matches with a 4-3 loss to former Atlantic Sun Conference member Georgia State University.
FAU played its strongest match to date and saw Katherine Bartnik capture two matches. The junior from Bradenton, FL defeated Kiera Strickland at no. 5 singles 6-1, 6-0 and teamed with Pia Terol to win at no. 2 doubles.
FAU will next play host to Toledo, 1 p.m. Tuesday.
