BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University had its final full practice of the week on Thursday. The Owls (3-7, 2-3) will square off with North Texas (3-7, 2-3) on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Fouts Field in Denton, TX.
The practice consisted of short-yardage and goal-line plays, followed by situationals. It ended with the two-minute drill.
North Texas defeated Louisiana-Lafayette last Saturday by a score of 16-7. The Mean Green are lead by receiver Johnny Quinn who has 547 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, Maurice Holman has 64 tackles and two sacks on the season.
The game is telecast locally on CSS. Fans can also tune in on the radio at WNJA 640 AM or WPSL 1590 AM to hear the game live.
FAU will return for full practice on Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
