BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will travel to Raleigh to take on N. C. State and host Atlantic Soccer Conference foe New Jersey Tech this week.
The Owls lost their only match last week, falling to conference opponent Hartwick 6-0.
The Owls will look to recover from that difficult loss against the Wolfpack (3-8-1) on Wednesday. The Wolfpack have lost three of their last four but will want to play well in their last home match of the season.
The Wolfpack and Owls share a common opponent. Both teams played USF, the Wolfpack fell to the Bulls 2-0 on Sept. 1, while the Owls lost 1-0 in overtime on Oct. 4.
Saturday's match against New Jersey Tech will be the last home match for all of the seniors on the men's soccer team. They will all be recognized individually before the match.
FAU can still qualify for a spot in the conference tournament, where the top four teams in the league will compete for an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
"We are still alive in the conference, but we need to produce in order to make the (conference) tournament," head men's soccer coach Kos Donev.
Wednesday's match against the Wolfpack is scheduled for 2 p.m.
