Former Miami Dolphins linebacker John Offerdahl added a little excitement to Florida Atlantic University's football practice on Wednesday. The four-time Pro Bowl starter spoke to the team about his college career and Senior Bowl experience and his professional career under Don Shula. Offerdahl stressed the importance of living up to your potential and making big plays as he replayed his two goal line stops of Bo Jackson in the Senior Bowl.
Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger was not impressed with Wednesday's practice but feels good about the team's improvement in the springl. "We had a lackluster day today. The players are anticipating the final scrimmage and are letting down. But I feel good about spring practice overall. We have guys with talent but we will have to see what happens since they are missing maturity and experience."
FAU will hold its final practice on Friday at 3:30 pm before closing out spring practice with a scrimmage on Saturday at 2 pm at the Tom Oxley Athletic Fields.
