BOCA RATON, FL -- The inclement weather did not prevent Florida Atlantic University from continuing its preparation for Louisiana-Lafayette on Tuesday afternoon.
The Owls worked on implementing their game plan for the Ragin' Cajuns during the first half of practice. In the back half of the session they worked extensively on their special teams play.
FAU will be playing its first Thursday road game of the season. The Owls have already played on Thursday twice this season with both games being at home.
With their non-conference schedule now complete, Florida Atlantic is very excited about battling Sunbelt Conference foes the rest of the season. "We are very capable of winning our conference and that goal is definitely still in sight," quarterback Danny Embick said.
The Owls are currently 0-1 in the conference, while Thursday will be the conference opener for the Ragin' Cajuns.
Kickoff is set for 8 pm eastern and fans will be able to see the game live on Sun Sports TV.
