Hagberg Named Performer-of-the-Week

Macon, GA - Florida Atlantic University's Raynell Hagberg was named Atlantic Sun Performer-of-the-Week as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon in Macon, GA. Hagberg, a junior psychology major from Stuart, FL, set an FAU record in the 800m with a time of 2:09.91 to earn her first A-Sun Performer-of-the-Week honor. Hagberg's third place finish at Gatorade Invitational was the A-Sun's top time in the 800m this season. Her time of 2:09.91 is also an NCAA Regional qualifying time.
FAU will return to action April 16-17 at the A-Sun Track & Field Championships which will be hosted by UCF in Orlando, FL. Results, pictures, and audio of each day of competition will be available on the A-Sun website at www.atlanticsun.org.
