BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team landed nine players on Don Hansen's All-South Region football teams, as announced Thursday afternoon. Twenty-four schools were represented among the three teams.
The Owls' nine players dominated the list. In total, FAU placed six offensive and three defensive players.
Wide receiver Roosevelt Bynes and tight end Anthony Crissinger-Hill received first team offensive honors. Cornerback Willie Hughley earned first team honors on defense.
Quarterback Jared Allen highlighted the second team offense along with two of his blockers, center George Guffey and guard Dave Richards. Linebacker Chris Laskowski represented the defensive side of the ball on the second team.
Defensive lineman Yrvens Guerrier was named to the third team All-South Region along with place kicker Mark Myers.
