BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University will take part in its second and final exhibition game Thursday night at FAU Gymnasium. The Owls will host Florida Tech in a game that tips at 7:00pm. There is no charge for admission.
FAU is coming off a 77-69 loss to Barry last Saturday in its first exhibition game. Robert Williams and Rodney Webb each led the Owls with 17 points. Quinton Young added 15 points, all on three-pointers, while Fred Marshall and Kahleaf Watson each added 10.
Ten players saw action for the Owls with seven being newcomers. Mike Bell, the Atlantic Sun Conference Preseason Player-of-the-Year, did not play in the game due to soreness in his left hand.
Florida Atlantic begins its regular season November 19 at FIU. The game can be heard live on WLVJ and www.fausports.com.
