Sixth Annual Paradise Madness Set for October 7

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The first opportunity for fans to see the 2026-27 Florida Atlantic men's and women's basketball teams is just over a week away. The sixth annual Paradise Madness, sponsored by Habit Burger & Grill, will be held next Wednesday, Oct. 7, on Abessinio Court at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with free admission to the showcase of events. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a spirit performance, and fan engagement from the Prowlers.
The introduction of the 2026-27 teams is next: the men, heading into Head Coach John Jakus' third year, and the women, led by Head Coach LeAnn Freeland in her second season.
Before competitions from the teams themselves, a group of lucky fans will participate in a half-court shot contest with a chance to win a prize giveaway.
Two team challenges will then take place, a women's skills challenge and a combined men's and women's 3-point shootout – which will also include a fan on each side. The night will conclude with a men's 20-minute scrimmage.
Fans will be treated to Paradise Madness t-shirts and a limited amount of Habit Burger coupons. There will also be fan and student gift card raffles, as well as t-shirt tosses throughout the night.
