BOCA RATON, FL. - Fresh off the program's first shutout, Florida Atlantic University's football team forgot the past and started looking towards its upcoming opponent, Edward Waters College. The Owls worked extensively in individual drills before breaking down to work against Fighting Tiger scout drills to conclude practice.
FAU (7-3) started practice with stretching and running before moving into positional drills. McKinson Souverain made the play of the day in wide receiver/defensive back drills. The freshman quarterback lined up as a receiver and beat his defender on a streak pattern on the left sideline. Souverain followed up that play by connecting with Jason Doerty on a deep post route for a touchdown.
The Owls will return to practice on Thursday, November 25 at 10 am. Practice is free and open to the public.
