FAU To Host Worth Invitational

Florida Atlantic University will host the annual FAU "Worth" Invitational, February 21-23, in Boca Raton, FL. The tournament gets underway Friday morning at FAU Field.
Florida Atlantic will be among six teams competing, including top-ranked UCLA. Florida International, Long Island, Rutgers, and Wisconsin round out the participating schools.
FAU (7-6) begins play Friday at 5:00pm against Rutgers. The Lady Owls will then face UCLA at 7:00pm. On Saturday, FAU faces Wisconsin at 11:00am before taking on Long Island at 7:00pm.
FAU has faced all the teams in the field except Long Island. FAU is 0-1 all-time vs UCLA, 23-12 against FIU, 4-3 against Rutgers, and 0-1 against Wisconsin.
Friday and Saturday's play will feature a total of six games, with the first game starting at 9:00am on each day. The tournament concludes Sunday with three games to determine fifth-place, third-place and first-place. The championship game is scheduled for 1:00pm on Sunday.
Tickets are available at the field. A three-day adult pass is $20 while a three-day pass for seniors and children 12 and under is $15. A one-day pass is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors and youths.
