Men's Soccer loses 1-0 to University of Wisconsin

Florida Atlantic lost to the University of Wisonsin 1-0 Sunday afternoon, on the last day of the Rocky Roccoco-Wisconsin Classic, hosted by the University of Wisconsin. Freshman goal keeper Anders Granstad made 13 saves in the effort but the Owls still lost on a goal by David Martinez late in the first half.
Bjorn Masson led the Owls in shots taken with four, with Kristoffer Aarskog shooting three times. This is the second game in a row where Masson and Aarskog have had three or more shots as the duo have combined to take 42 percent of the team's 31 shots. FAU out shot the Badgers in the second half, 9-5, but it was not enough to put a score on the board. Granstad has only allowed one goal off of 20 shots in two games combined.
Florida Atlantic's next game is Friday, September 6th versus Belmont University in Nashville, TN, in the teams first in-conference match. The Owls first home game will be Saturday, September 14th at 7:30 pm versus Florida International.
