BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University, ranked no. 47 in the nation, was defeated by Hampton University, 4-3, in Boca Raton. Hampton took the doubles point before splitting the six singles matches for the victory.

With the loss, the Owls fall to 9-3 on the year. Florida Atlantic next hosts Colgate March 19 at 9:00am.
