FAU women's soccer loses first game

Miami, FL - ,Miami, FL - Florida Atlantic women's soccer team loses there first match of the season, a 3-0 decision to the University of Miami.
Miami scored two goals in a 6-minute stretch early in the game, then added one in the second half to finish the scoring. Miami goals were scored by Lisa Gomez(10:48) , Deidre Bass(15:43), and Allison McWhinney(80:22).
FAU sophomore goalkeeper, Molly Keating played the entire match and recorded 10 saves in the loss. FAU was out-shot in the game 20 - 6.
With the loss FAU now stands at 2-1-0 on the season.
FAU travels to Florida International to play Tennessee Tech Friday, September 7, at 4:30pm and Northern Illinois, Sunday, September 9, at 11am, in the Florida International Tournament.
