Men's Tennis Win Streak Snapped

Florida Atlantic University was defeated by the University of South Florida, 6-1, Friday afternoon in Tampa, FL. The loss snaps FAU's 10-match winning streak and drops the Owls to 16-4 overall this season. FAU entered the match ranked 57th in the nation.
The match started out with another streak ending for the Owls as they lost the doubles point to the Bulls. FAU had won 18-straight doubles points before USF took two of three of the early matches.
With a 1-0 lead, USF won the no. 1 and no. 3 singles matches to take a 3-0 lead before Jit Shah handed FAU's Kodi Lewis his first singles loss of the spring at no. 6 to give the Bulls a 4-0 lead and to clinch the victory.
FAU next plays at Bethune-Cookman Saturday in Daytona Beach, FL.
