Florida Atlantic University (22-12) gave up three runs in the first but shutout Harvard University (3-9) the next eight innings for a 10-3 FAU victory.
Greg Eubanks pitched six innings for FAU and gave up two earned runs on four hits. A home run by Brian Lentz scored the only earned runs for the Crimson.
FAU scored four in the fourth inning behind a two-run Regan Samaniego homer. Mike Valdes and Alex Fernandez drove in the innings other two runs. FAU had three players earn two RBIs each, LJ Biernbaum, Valdes, and Samaniego.
Aaron Diehl pitched two innings and allowed just one hit. Jim Cooney pitched the final inning and allowed just one hit.
FAU travels to Gainesville to play Florida tonight at 5 pm.
